Aims & Objectives

The mission of the Heidelberg Club International is to draw into its international chapters colleagues from the senior ranks of a number of disciplines, and to extend a spirit of cooperation and friendship through projects, initiatives, and public events around the world, with an overall aim to develop an awareness of the City of Heidelberg, its attributes and values, and to improve international cooperation with today's Germany.

Heidelberg approaches the HCI mission above by first identifying its own competencies of international significance: sciences and humanities, environmental strategies and management, sustainable tourism, and modern service-oriented municipal administration. The city is also well known for its standards of music, visual arts, creative writing, and communications media. Heidelberg offers to share its expertise by way of joint projects and international collaboration with its HCI chapters and their members.
